Certificate IV in Aged Care
Overview
This qualification is a nationally recognised course designed to meet the training needs of workers in residential facilities or community-based aged care. This course has been customised for existing aged care, disability and community workers with experience caring for older people.
- This course will equip you to:
- Care for older people with complex needs
- Provide personal care
- Work with older people with dementia
- Promote independence and community participation
- Assist with medications
- Report to service managers and liaise with professionals and other service providers
- Supervise and/or coordinate a limited number of other workers.
