Certificate IV in Aged Care

Overview

This qualification is a nationally recognised course designed to meet the training needs of workers in residential facilities or community-based aged care. This course has been customised for existing aged care, disability and community workers with experience caring for older people.  

  • This course will equip you to:
  • Care for older people with complex needs
  • Provide personal care
  • Work with older people with dementia
  • Promote independence and community participation
  • Assist with medications
  • Report to service managers and liaise with professionals and other service providers
  • Supervise and/or coordinate a limited number of other workers.
