This short Skills Set will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to establish relationships, clarify needs, and then work collaboratively with people who are living with mental health issues. This course best applies to candidates that are not directly involved the mental health sector, but who come into contact with people with mental health issues.
Successful candidates will complete units which could be credited towards a range of courses
offered in the Community Services and Health sectors, including the Certificate III in Individual
Support, Cert IV Mental Health and Certificate IV in Disability

This 3-week intensive course conducted online, will be run with a blend of online classes, work based learning and assessment, online practical workshops and self-paced activities. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in “Speed Interviews” with Disability organisations to either gain employment or as a pathway to Traineeships.
